Required fields are indicated with a star * after their field name. 

This field tells the store where to run the secure credit card page during customer checkout. If you are running SSL from the local server (the same server that is running your web site), the system will be able to use the skin assigned to your store when it builds the credit card page.

If SSL is running on a remote server (a server different than the one running your web site), the software will display a "generic" credit card page with your store's name at the top.

This path tells the shopping cart system where to find the SSL enabled server and where to run your credit card entry page from. If you are not sure what to enter, please ask your web hosting provider for assistance.

This field is ONLY required if you selected USE SSL = YES and the RUN SSL = REMOTE in the fields above. If you are running the SSL from the local server, then DO NOT complete this field.

If you want the store to allow (sales) tax exempt orders, click the "Yes" option.

To help prevent credit card fraud, you should always require that customers provide the name of the bank who issued their credit/debit card as well as the bank's phone number. Collecting this information during checkout will allow you to call the bank and verify the cardholder's name and account information for any suspicious orders.

The store keeps track of the time and date each customer order was placed which is based on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Use the options above to adjust the store's time to match your local time.

The store will place a small copyright notice at the bottom of each page in your store. Use this field to enter or change the text you want to appear as the copyright notice. This field is required.

Enter the currency symbol you want displayed to your customers. For the United States, the symbol is a dollar sign "$". This field is required.

Enter the weight measurement you want displayed to your customers. For the United States, this field should be pounds "lbs.". This field is required.

This optional field allows you to override the store's action when a customer clicks on a "HOME" button or link. To override, enter the FULL URL path (including the "http://" prefix) to the web page you want displayed.

Leave this field blank if you want the store's default action to take place.

Enter the text you want displayed when the customer clicks the PRIVACY store link. This field is only required when the PRIVACY link above is being shown in the store. HTML is allowed in this field.

Otherwise, leave this field blank.

Enter the text you want displayed when the customer clicks the POLICIES store link. This field is only required when the POLICIES link above is being shown in the store. HTML is allowed in this field.

Otherwise, leave this field blank.

Enter the text you want displayed when the customer clicks the FAQ store link. This field is only required when the FAQ link above is being shown in the store. HTML is allowed in this field.

Otherwise, leave this field blank.

Enter the text you want displayed at the top of the Special page. HTML is allowed in this field. This text will appear just above the list of products that are currently on special.

This optional field allows you to add a "custom" link to the store links that appear to the customer. There are many uses for this feature, and therefore, please review the online help in order to fully understand how to use this option.

There may be times that you would like to temporarily suspend store operations. Example: when you are making changes to your store and you dont want the store displayed to your customers until you are finished.

If you enter something into this field, the store will suspend operations and display this text as a message to your customers. The store will resume operations when you remove the text in this field.
